He discusses how he got his start, provides helpful advice, and goes over the ever changing music industry. It’s a pivotal time where major labels are struggling to keep their old business plan (making artists marketable so they can profit off physical album sales) profitable. It’s pretty obvious now the direction the industry is going when you have I-Tunes becoming the number one music distributor in the world, you have Radiohead independently releasing their new record through digital format and still making more money than all of their previous records combined….EVER, and you see companies such as Live Nation – a company specializing in concert events signing million dollar contracts with Jay-Z and Madonna.
