“…I made the moon go thin.” Check out Mayer Hawthorne’s cover of fellow Stones Throw label mate James Pants track Thin Moon from the album Seven Seals released December of last year. I have to say Hawthorne is one smooth dude. It’s a nice chill and melodic track that can make anyone have a good day after listening. He takes James’ version and gives it a more organic and soulful touch with raw piano and live drums. His vocals uplift you takes you to another place. Highly Recommended
