Eternal Summers – Correct Behavior EP
Listening to Eternal Summers new LP Correct Behavior harkens me back to my angsty teen years of the late ‘80s at Shermer High — oh wait, no, that was Molly Ringwald. Shoot. Well if I was old enough to have experienced high school circa The Breakfast Club, I’m pretty sure that Eternal Summers would bring up some pretty fabulous memories of teasing my hair for the big house party or dancing around my room pretending the secret cabbage patch doll I owned was really Judd Nelson. Back July 24th with their new album, Eternal Summers is revamped: the steadfast Virginia twosome have added a third. Bassist Jonathan Woods enables the band to enrich that low edge sound they so much enjoy. An equal mix of balladry and upbeat tunes that will make you want to dance the ‘Molly Ringwald’, the record is a reverb-drenched cocktail perfect for this – excuse the pun – summer’s warm evenings out on the back porch.
