Rising from southeast Asia, Kiat (Syndicate) pushes the envelope of experimental electronic beats with his new album The Inner Galaxy. This intricate collection of thirteen painstakingly created tracks sources from the sounds of dub, hip hop, drum and bass topped with an extra serving of secret sauce. Mind bending sounds pulse continuously from start to finish with a broad stroke of steadily evolving alien sounds trapped in a realm of the distinctly familiar. When I put this album on, I just sit back and enjoy the ride.
