Goldmund – The Wind Sings (Outliers Vol. 1)

outliers 258x400 Goldmund The Wind Sings (Outliers Vol. 1)

Chicago film collective Scenic along side photographers Tim Navis / Tim Holtermand and composer Deru set out to Iceland in October 2011 after a successful Kickstarter campaign in order to film a series of improvised shorts that would best capture the country’s beautiful landscape and culture.

The result is a documentary entitled Outliers Vol. 1 which premiers today and will be presented at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. The soundtrack is absolutely breathtaking. It features an all-star cast of world renown electronic artists who have combined their talents to create a collection of uniquely mesmerizing audio tracks for the film. Of those that contributed, Deru along with Shigeto, Loscil, and Sweatson Klank will be taking the stage tonight to perform full sets. The first 200 ticket holders have access to an exclusive live screening and a Q&A session with the artists prior to the show. My favorite would have to be Goldmund’s gorgeous production entitled The Wind Sings which can be streamed below.
