Om Unit – Aeolian EP
The opening track to Aoelian, Om Unit’s third EP, Ulysses flows like a shapeless and formless element seeping with the sounds of various genres and production techniques. It is to no surprise that the title of this release would refer to the process of wind shaping Earth and other planets. The level of quality is astounding from the exploding drums to the smooth biting synths. It isn’t an overwhelming show of force, as each element breathes in cohesion between each transient to allow every sound to settle into an unforgettable groove. Reso and Sweatson Klank join in to provide remixes along with the Tamara Blessa who blesses the track Dark Sunrise with her expansive vocal talents. Look out for the release on July 30, 2012.
