Pixelord – Been Lookin
Moscow based beat producer Alexey Devyanin has a new release entitled Supaplex (Civil Music) under his moniker Pixelord.
The four track dance club banger is a huge departure from his last release Keramika which resembled a laid back, beat scene catered selection and it included a remix contribution from Los Angeles’ own Groundislava.
This time around Pixelord delivers a heavy hat tip towards the Chicago Juke scene. The opening track Been Lookin remains on rotation this week. Pulsating bass and hyper timed high hats compliment intricately programmed synths while a dreamy r&b female vocal sample keeps things smooth and concentrated. Supaplex is due out September 17, 2012.
