Saint Motel – Feed Me Now

After meeting and forming at film school in California, the quartet Saint Motel has been making the rounds at all the usual L.A. haunts the last couple years and it seems to have paid off. They have finally released their first LP, Voyeur.The track Feed Me Now has echoes of The Strokes, but with its heavy dose of horns and explosive chorus their lightly latin-tinged song is a virtual fiesta for your ears. A party to be heard, I’m fairly certain a party was also taking place in the recording studio, as the background call of “Hey”, over A/J Jackson lyrics, is shouted with such a boisterous fervor it was surely coming from a chorus of 10 rather than the backup vocals of Aaron Sharp, Dak and Greg Erwin.
