Zambri – From An Angle (Music Video)
Sisterly duo Zambri – Cristi Jo and Jessica Zambri that is – are debuting the video for From An Angle off their freshman album House of Baasa. The song and video are a remarkable mix of pep and eeriness that I never knew possible. Their voices are angelic, and set against a a slightly offbeat, chain gang-esque metronomic rhythm. The video, is a seizure-inducing, pink-soaked trip through the car wash. Odd? Yes. But the combination, in both cases, works well for these two as they’ve managed to create a sound that combines hints of Jem and Bjork; as well as a video that perpetuates the emotion induced by their music. These two hit the road later this summer for a 14 date tour.
