Donky Pitch + ARP 101 + Elliott Yorke – Fluro Black
ARP 101 and Elliott Yorke team up for a four track genre blending offering from Donky Pitch entitled Fluro Black. Right off the bat you can hear the familiar Low End Theory / Los Angeles influence. Fluro Black sets it off with a trap music style of production. Polybot comes right off the pages of Samiyam’s book, fully laden with a flurry of mind bending synth leads. SLAM chills things out with gangster hydroponic funk and Electric Lemonade pays homage to Eliot Lipp. The album deftly showcases the duo’s virtuosity and sets the stage to a set of familiar head nod inducing style references.
