Toro Y Moi Releases New Single – So Many Details
It was some time last year when I said to myself alright, I’m all Toro Y Moi‘d out I need a break. His sound was beginning to be a bit redundant and I was looking forward to something new and refreshing from the guy. Well, it has finally arrived. The new single So Many Details incorporates many of my favorite sounds. The raw production calls on gritty compressed drums, slow attacking synth sounds, biting bass, double time arpeggiator, dynamics, and spacing coupled with the ingenious song writing/vocal work by Chaz Bundick’s has me at a loss for words. First to drop is the 7″ single featuring this track and a remix featuring Odd Future’s Hodgy Beats. The full length entitled Anything In Return will be out on January 22, 2013.
