Strangeloop has performed with Lotus on several occasions as well as put on a show at the latest Coachella. David combines visual media art with beautifully composed experimental music creating an experience like no other. Deftune’s line up of DJs will also be offering the same level of quality that you’ll hear on their website which will include music from a wide variety of genres including electronic, hip hop, soul, funk, dance, and experimental. Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Deftune fam, David Wexler. David is well known for his visual and musical talents and his work as Dr. Strangeloop signed under Flying Lotus’ Label Brainfeeder. He creates imaginative landscapes by combining abstract visuals, reflecting his chaotic and beautiful musical arrangements that at times seem to invoke some wholly new media-universe. His recent release, Are We Lost Mammals of an Approaching Transcendental Epoch? was highly recommended on Deftune and we are all HUGE fans, fortunate to be blessed by his writing talents. Please stay tuned for his commentary on subjects such as synaesthesia, cymatics, artificial intelligence, and the future of music.
