Hot Heavy Heat (Dimlite\’s Hot Air & Thick Plastic Remix)

Check out this track entitled Alexandra And Gabriel from Natural Self’s latest album The Art Of Vibration available now through Tru-Thoughts Recordings. Natural Self is the solo work of producer Keno-1. The album also features contributions from Andreya Triana, Abdominal, Nostalgia 77, Jonny Spall, Fulvio Sigurta and Capstone Little. The entire album definitely has a soulful, jazzy, vibe with obvious hip hop, trip hop, and electronica influences. This is not one to miss.

Ghost In The Machine

Here’s a track from electronica group Stereo Mc’s album Deep Down & Dirty entitled Breeze. The album was released back in 2001. They worked with Jungle Brothers back in the early 90s and are also known for their remixing of U2, PM Dawn, Queen Latifah, Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, Monie Love and Electronic. Make sure to check out their newest album Double Bubble released earlier this year.

Lovage [band] is spearheaded by none other than Dan the Automator. Some of you may know him from his works with Del the Funky Homosapien, Kool Keith, and Gorillaz to mention a few. This track features vocals from Jennifer Charles, co-founder of the pop-rock band Elysian Fields and is off the album Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By (2001).

Nightmares On Wax Releases New Album- Thought So?

It always feels good to arrive at a certain destination after a long journey, whilst simultaneously knowing that a new chapter has just opened. For George Evelyn aka E.a.s.e., the force behind trailblazing leftfield act Nightmares On Wax, things have come full circle.

This new album was inspired by a special journey from Evelyn’s birthplace of Leeds to his new family home located right in the middle of Ibiza. Instead of shipping all his studio equipment by boat, E.a.s.e. rose to the challenge of writing some music on a unique roadtrip. By bringing the gear, a decent sound engineer and the N.O.W. live band members in camper vans on the long journey from the UK to the Balears and with a setting that readily provided inspiration, the rapport in exchanging ideas was instant, and thus the concept of “thought so..” arrived, from the process itself.
