Satellites – Ghost
Approaching his tenth year as a music maker, Erik Nava finds himself handling all aspects of his music biz. From running a label, handling PR, publishing, web design, and animation it seems that the man is true music diehard and DIY all the way. As if that wasn’t enough, he prepares to drop another release.
On his latest project as Satellites, he takes on the beat scene with a nine track album entitled Ghost. Geared towards those that can appreciate synthesizers and sample based artistry, Erik succeeds at proclaiming moments of self-discovery through each layer of sound. The production focus retains an intentional simplicity, leaving the playing field open for the listeners imagination to go wild. The icing on the cake is the amount of work that went into the live aspect of this release.
